Position Type

When defined, the Position Type is used for reporting purposes only. It provides default position types of Full Time, Part Time and Casual.

Rules and Guidelines

  • If the default position type is not used for reporting, this can be used for other purposes.
  • Position type details are not used in standard reports within the system; however, they can be used in various customized reports. A number of clients will establish position definitions with different position type values to track the movement of employees in these positions.
