Lockdown Payroll

This Window allows the users the ability to "lock down" payroll related screens and notify Moorepayhr that the system is ready for payroll processing. It will restrict all access to payroll until the payroll process has been completed.

Prerequisite

  • No prerequisite for this window.

Rules and Guidelines

  • The Leave Application will not be locked by the "lock down" process, employees will still be able to file for leave while a payroll is in progress.
  • When the screen is in "lock down" mode the client/user will also receive the message: Payroll in progress. Maintenance is not allowed.
  • Once the user enters relevant information and runs the process, the system will:
    1. Lock all payroll related screens
    2. Send an email to a nominated Moorepay email account
    3. Ensure HR related data can still be managed.

     

Field and Information

ClosedCompany Code*

Choose the company code to be processed for payroll lockdown.

ClosedPay Period

The number of month or year which the employee time is recorded and paid. Enter the pay period which you want the system to lock down.

ClosedNumber of Additional Attachments

Key in the Number of Additional Attachments for the following fields:

  • P45's
  • P46's
  • Other Revenue Documents
  • Other Submission

 

The Screen will include the following View Only Dates for the clients. These dates are already available within the Payroll's Workflow screen:

  • Input Deadline Date & Time
  • BACSDT (If applicable)
  • Pay Date
  • Preview Available Date & Time
  • Preview Amendment Deadline Date & Time
  • Output Available Date & Time

 

ClosedProcess Confirmation

Tick the Process Confirmation box to indicate that the system is ready for payroll processing.
